The past year has been a difficult challenge for Ukrainians. We will celebrate this New Year and Christmas during wartime, so loud festivities and fireworks would be inappropriate. However, we should not give up on the holidays completely, as they can still be traditionally celebrated in a close family circle.

New Year and Christmas are about life and hope, about hearts open to the joy of our loved ones, and about our connection with those who defend Ukraine and those who have lost their homes and need our support and shelter.

Each of us is waiting for a small miracle during these days, and each of us can create a small miracle for someone else.

May these holidays fill our hearts with life-giving strength and all-conquering love, bring family warmth, peace, and harmony to every home, and generously bless us with good health, prosperity, and God's grace.

May 2023 take away all hardships, and may the New Year 2024 bring us what matters most - victory and peace. May it also bring simple human happiness, hope for a brighter future, the fulfillment of all our plans, and only pleasant concerns.
