The PONY & laquo;Favourite» seed drill is a row seeder; is designed for ordinary sowing of seeds of cereals (wheat, rye, barley, oats), legumes (peas, beans, soya, lentils, beans, chickpeas, chickpeas, lupins), rapeseed, flax with simultaneous application of granulated mineral fertilisers to the sown rows and row packing of the soil.

The seeder can be used for sowing seeds of other crops similar to cereals in terms of seed size and seeding rates.The slope of the field surface should not exceed 8 degrees. The surface soil layer should be levelled and loosened before sowing. The soil in the layer of the seeding depth should be finely clodded: the weight content of soil lumps from 1 to 10 mm in size should be at least 50%.

After cultivating the field, it is necessary to wait a day for the soil to shrink.

Large stones and lumps of 30mm and larger are not allowed.For normal operation of the seeder, it is necessary that the soil moisture does not exceed:

.15-25% for a depth of 0-5 cm;18-30% for a depth of 5 -10 cm. The mounted seeder is hydraulically operated, aggregated with tractors with a power of 82 hp.
