Description
Description

As a manufacturer with extensive hands-on experience in tillage machinery, we have developed a heavy-duty 4 m disc stubble cultivator designed for intensive post-harvest cultivation and fast field preparation. Fully equipped, the implement weighs around 5 tons, ensuring consistent penetration and stable performance even on compacted soils and in heavy residue conditions.

The working discs are mounted on shanks with dampers, which absorb shock loads and protect key components when operating on stony ground. The machine is a trailed design and is intended for tractors from 200 hp, allowing confident high-speed operation while delivering clean stubble cutting, effective residue mixing, and uniform surface leveling.

The cultivator folds hydraulically, enabling quick changeover from working to transport position. With a transport width of 2.5 m, it is convenient for road travel and moves efficiently between fields. As standard, we fit rear spiral packer rollers that consolidate and level the soil, seal moisture, and leave a firm, even seedbed for subsequent operations. Optionally, front chopping rollers are available to shred stubble and improve residue distribution ahead of the discs.

The chassis features reinforced frames and reliable assemblies engineered for sustained peak-season loads. Depth and roller pressure adjustments allow the implement to be tailored to different agronomic goals—from shallow cultivation to stimulate volunteers and weeds to deeper mixing for incorporating heavy maize or sunflower residues. Proper consolidation reduces moisture loss and accelerates organic matter breakdown.

Every unit undergoes factory quality control for assembly and settings, and is supplied with documentation and service support. We provide spare parts and technical guidance to keep the machine performing reliably season after season.

We can help you select the right configuration for your soils, provide setup charts, and advise on correct tractor matching before field operation.

Principle of operation

Unlike traditional ploughing, which is carried out with flat ploughs, and the depth of the topsoil that is shifted or turned over can reach 30-35 cm, peeling takes place without dumping and turning the soil to a depth of 8-12 cm. Hulling belongs to the class of "minimal" or "economical" tillage. There are disc and ploughshare cultivators. Disc cultivators process the soil to a depth of 4-12 cm.

Advantages

The effectiveness of this method of tillage is as follows:

  • reduction of costs for fuels and lubricants, compared to ploughing;Soil harrows can be complemented by soil crumbling rollers or tine harrows. Some people also refer to rollers as cultivators. Some manufacturers equip their rollers with discs of a similar shape to the cultivators, thus creating a universal unit that combines the properties of a cultivator and a packer roller. In this case, it is not possible to increase the depth of peeling. It is usually 4-6 cm. Soil peeling can be performed as a preparatory operation for ploughing, or it can be used as an independent type of tillage before sowing with the use of precision seeders.
